Most Christmas gifts are forgotten by February. A personalized Christmas book with your child's name and face becomes the one they ask for every December, pulled out of the same box year after year, whether they are a toddler meeting Santa for the first time or an early reader who wants to read it to you.

Up, up, up! Whoosh goes the sleigh! Jackson flies so high. Santa waves his mitten. Sparkles glow in sky. Elves cheer down below. Bye-bye, snowy village! Can you wave too?
"Hold on tight!" Santa boomed. The repaired sleigh leaped skyward. Jackson laughed as golden sparkles glittered. Far below, cheering elves waved wrenches. "We fixed it!" yelled Jackson. Colorful lights danced across chilly sky. The reindeer dashed above rooftops. Their soaring adventure had just begun!
With a sudden surge of power, the Sparkle Sleigh lifted into the frozen air. Jackson gripped the gilded edge, his stomach doing joyful flips as a trail of stardust burst beneath the runners. "Listen to that hum, Jackson!" Santa roared over the wind, raising a wave to the village. Far below, the elves cheered and brandished their tools under shimmering northern lights. Every gear Jackson had tuned spun in flawless harmony.
The runners broke free from the packed snow with an exhilarating lurch, launching them straight toward the heavens. Jackson gripped the polished golden trim, breathless as the wind whipped his cheeks and the peppermint cog spun in flawless alignment. Behind them, a wake of starlight cascaded over the snow-dusted roofs, illuminating the tiny elves who waved their wrenches in triumphant farewell. Santa threw back his head with a booming laugh, his glove raised toward the glowing village below. Up here beneath the shifting ribbons of emerald aurora, Jackson knew that wonder was something you built with your own two hands.

There is a specific kind of Christmas magic that comes from rituals: the same hot chocolate mug, the same ornaments unwrapped in the same order, the same story read on Christmas Eve. A personalized Christmas book fits right into that ritual, as a Christmas Eve box gift, a stocking stuffer for the paperback, or the book under the tree with their name on the cover.
Kids grow up, but the book stays. Ten Decembers from now, the picture of them at four, saving Christmas, is the page everyone stops on.
