Do I have to write the whole story?

No. A one-line idea is enough, and the AI writes the full story from it. If you have more in mind, a paragraph about what happens and how it ends, it follows that instead. Either way you read every page before anything is illustrated.

Can I change the words?

Page by page. You can't type into the text directly, but you can tell the AI what to change on any page, "make it funnier" or "Grandpa should be the one who finds the key", and it rewrites that page.

Do I need design or drawing skills?

None. The AI draws every page in the art style you choose, with your child drawn from their photo. Your job is to look and decide: approve it or redraw it. Every order includes 30 image regenerations. Need more? Just ask us.

Is it a real printed book?

Yes: a 7.5 inch square book, 32 pages with 13 illustrated story pages, printed to order in paperback or hardcover and shipped within the US. The digital flipbook is ready the moment you approve.

How long does it take?

About 15 minutes of your time to make it. After you approve, printing takes 7 to 10 business days, then shipping takes 8 to 9 days by book rate or 2 to 3 expedited.

Can more than one child be the hero?

Yes. Up to 4 people can be drawn from photos, and the story can share the spotlight or put one of them in front. Say which in your idea.

Your Book, Not a Template

Most personalized books are a fixed story with a name swapped in. Here nothing is fixed: the plot, the setting, who is in it, and how it ends all come from what you write. Two families who start on the same day end up with two different books.
